North Gabriel Christian Assembly was founded in 2002 by elders John Latham and Don Hart, Jr. and a group of families who have covenanted together to form a local assembly of Christians (see our Church Covenant). Our fellowship meets together on Sunday mornings at a facility in Cedar Park, Texas (north of Austin).

Believing that children are a blessing, and that God designed for families to worship together, we have "family-integrated" worship services, without a separate Sunday school or children's church. Fathers are exhorted and equipped to lead their families in daily worship and to train their children in the way of the Lord.

Service Format: After a Scripture passage is read, we sing hymns together, followed by a short teaching on the Lord’s supper and the subsequent partaking of bread and juice by all those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins. Next there is more singing, a sermon brought by one of the elders, and a time for men of the church to share with the body. Prayer requests are then shared, and the service is concluded with prayer. Afterwards, we all share a meal together and enjoy fellowship.

Bible Verse
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

- Deuteronomy 6:4-7
